We had to deal with the continuation of our project that dates back to a few years ago and which concerned the conversion of an old building on Sorrento's coast into a hotel. The ownership wanted to create a new restaurant, taking advantage of the possibility of a volumetric extension. The project is based on a conservative strategy to maintain the existing Roman pergola with its furniture, its decorations, and the wonderful view of Vesuvius. In the new volumes there is a long service counter for the restaurant and beverages. Behind the counter, there is a wood-burning oven for pizza, completely covered with a Chevron ornament. In the dining area, with tables, there is also a typical local boat that is suspended along a wall. In the design of ??the new project we preferred to intervene with a very different language from the previous one and with one that is definitely closer to new trends.
